Conventions

The Columbus/Platte County Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to invite you to discover Columbus and the Platte County Area!

We are proud of what Columbus has to offer. Columbus prides itself on the fine hospitality, facilities and services available. Our city has (10) hotel/motels and (1) Bed & Breakfast, offering a total of 554 guestrooms. During free time, your attendees will enjoy shopping in our unique specialty shops, antique stores and malls, dining in our fine restaurants and relaxing and playing at our recreational facilities. The friendly, caring people of our community are here to make you feel welcome and to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Columbus is easily accessible and conveniently located 90 minutes from Omaha and Lincoln, 75 minutes from Grand Island and 50 minutes from I-80. U.S. Highways 30 and 81 intersect in the city. Our community of 21,000 is large enough to adequately meet the needs of your group yet not too big to forget that hometown friendly spirit.

Being experienced in hosting events, the Columbus/Platte County Convention & Visitors Bureau will work closely with the planning committee to insure a smooth running convention. We guarantee service above and beyond!
