#TravelMatters to hometown pride.
Nebraskans have a lot of hometown pride. In March, the state experienced some devastating floods, and many communities that are dependent on tourism have been affected. While a lot of rebuilding has already begun, many of these communities and destinations lost out on months of tourism business. Because of this, we’re encouraging everyone to take an extra getaway this summer and visit one of those affected areas. Parts of Northeastern Nebraska like Niobrara, Verdigre, Fremont, Norfolk, Columbus, Spencer, Monowi and more; and towns along the Missouri River on the eastern border like Brownville - Pick a destination in these areas and spend a weekend… or more! These areas still have plenty to see and do and we know that what you spend while enjoying your getaway will never be appreciated more than right now. Let’s show our hometown pride and give these areas some extra love this summer! #NTTW19 ... See MoreSee Less
