Open in May before Memorial Day weekend, Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, it is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. after Labor Day to the second weekend in October, Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-4 p.m. Excavation in the Rhino Barn is ongoing and can be observed by the public. Park entry permit required.

Siouxland Freedom Park

Located in the heart of Siouxland along the banks of the Missouri River and can be seen across the water from the well-known Floyd Monument, in full view on the river’s bluff. These fifty-five acres of land are accessible off of G Street on Foundry Road, which runs adjacent to the railroad tracks. A dog park is established and is connected to the Siouxland Trails System.
