10:30 – 11:30- Shelley Frear will speak on The Genoa Indian School: A Mixed Legacy –
research she did for her Master’s Thesis St. Rose of Lima Community Center
10:00 AM – 4:00PM- Native American Jewelry and Crafts –table free to Native Crafters
10:00 AM – 4:00PM- Tours: Indian School Interpretive Center/Museum featuring a film about the
school and over 40 Native Nation flags .
11:30- 1:00PM- Native American Tacos made by the Ellstons- St. Rose of Lima Community
12:30 – 1:30- Showing of the film staring the 1st Native American actress Red Wing.
1:00 – 5:00 Downtown Museum open features Pawnee & Mormon items
1:30 – 2:30 Shirley Sneve (Sicangu Lakota), Director of Native American Public
Telecommunications will speak.
2:30 – 3:00- Pattie Valladolid (Winnebago) and other relatives will speak about the film
and actress Red Wing.
3:00 – 4:00- Former students & descendents will share memories, photos and be
video recorded -St. Rose of Lima Community Center
4:00- Ice cream Social- St. Rose of Lima Center
